Have recently acquired a desktop XP. Have checked on Device Manager. Under Other Devices, Ethernet Controller has a highlighted ? mark and double clicking reveals that drivers are not installed (Code 28). Have tried reinstalling and also rollback but no drivers available on computer. The network adapter is a 1394 if that info is of any use.
